HOW TO COME TO CITY HALL OF STUTTGART

Arriving by plane:
The train station of Stuttgart Airport ("Flughafen/Messe") is located at Level 1 of Terminal 1. The S-Bahn is available for use every 10 to 20 minutes. In the weekends you have a travel option every 30 minutes. Just take S-Bahn line S2 (direction: Schorndorf) or S3 (direction Backnang). Exit at the station "Stuttgart-Stadtmitte". The ride takes approximately 25 minutes. From there, it takes about 5-10 minutes by foot until you reach the destination.

If you leave the airport by car, the B27 connects the airport and Stuttgart with each other. The distance is 13 kilometres and travel time by car about 20 minutes.

Arriving by train:
If you arrive by train at the main station ("Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof"), you can use several lines to get to "Stuttgart Stadtmitte". It’s just one station. From there, it takes about 5-10 minutes by foot. You can also travel by bus or city train ("Stadtbahn"), but eventually you have to switch lines to get to the station "Rathaus". You can also easily walk from the main station to the city hall via the "Königstraße".

Arriving by Car (not recommended):
State Highway A8 and State Highway A81 form a cross which is called "Stuttgarter Kreuz". The City is in the upper right quarter of that cross. Generally, follow the sign "Stuttgart Zentrum" to get to the center of Stuttgart.
