Financing the energy renovation of buildings: Take part in a training session on three innovative schemes!

By Floriane Cappelletti on 1 February 2017

Partners in the Infinite Solutions project will share their experience in implementing 3 innovative financing schemes during a full-day training session on 23 February in Brussels.

Local and regional authorities have to be resourceful and open-minded to invent and test new financing mechanisms, business models, organisational structures and partnerships to make their sustainable energy projects happen. This requires strong technical, financial, legal and coordination skills and expertise in local authorities.

As part of the Infinite Solutions project, 11 European cities and regions have tested innovative financing schemes to support the energy renovation of private and public buildings. As the project is coming to an end, the local authorities are willing to share their experience and provide guidance to replicate these schemes.

The Infinite Solutions training session will be held on 23 February in Brussels.

The objectives of this training are to inform and train participants on how to develop and implement three innovative financing schemes that have been tested by the Infinite Solutions partners: Intracting, soft loans, third-party investment. Interested in testing these financing schemes? Willing to support cities and regions in doing so?
Wether you are an energy agency, a regional or local authority or supporting structure for local authorities, this training session will provide you with exhaustive information and practical case studies.

Participants in this training session are also invited to join a study visit organised by Brussels Environment the day before the training (22 February).
