Come and join your peers in Heidelberg at our Annual Conference 2019!

Upon invitation of the Mayor of Heidelberg and our president, Prof. Dr. Eckart Würzner, Energy Cities’ annual conference will take place in Heidelberg from 22 to 23 May 2019, as an integral part of the International Conference on Climate Action ICCA 2019.

Hosted by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg and the City of Heidelberg, ICCA aims at uniting cities, regions and governments on all levels to increase cooperation for boosting climate action.

In the midst of this spirit of collaboration and action for climate, Energy Cities holds its annual conference and provides several occasions to meet with peers and discuss the latest developments in local energy matters, such as planning, policies and trends. In addition to the varied programme offered within ICCA, Energy Cities provides further possibilities for you to connect and get inspired during some of our workshops.

You can find more information on our dedicated programme here. As with every Annual Conference, this is a milestone for getting updates on city initiatives, sharing best practices and coordinating policy work towards EU institutions. It is the meeting point for decision-makers and practitioners from public organisations, business, research and civil society.

Don’t miss this special occasion and Register for the General Assembly before Friday, 12 April.
